I've never really used the alarm on an Android phone, and the one on the DEFY is the first I've used and needed to rely on.
However, it has let me down two days in a row!
It's quite good in that you can press anywhere on the screen (or the volume keys) to snooze, and must drag along the bottom to disable the alarm. That should stop you cancelling the alarm in your sleep.
But, today I noticed that after snoozing the first time - it didn't sound the alarm the next time. It just sat there until I actually got up (luckily I hadn't fallen back to sleep properly) about 20 minutes later - still showing the alarm and my message 'get up!" and the ability to disable it.
What's the point in an alarm that doesn't sound? I don't want it using a sensor that means if I throw it back down on the bed it will land face down and be on silent. Fine for calls and texts, but I want an alarm to sound ALL the time.
There's even an option to sound even louder if you don't respond in five minutes, but that clearly doesn't work either.
Advice?
