Defy vs. s2: signal reception

Hi
New to this forum. I currently own a motorola defy but im thinking about getting an S2. The dealbreaker for me would be if the signal reception -mainly referring to the 3g antenna if there is such a thing- in the S2 was any worse. Motorola is known for the power of its antennas because it used to make radios. I live in a bunker like apartment with thick walls. I solely use 3g/hdspa. What is your opinion/experience?

You may have to wait a long while for a truly definitive answer on this one Interventizio.

You need to have someone who owned a Motorola Defy previously and now has a SGSII and lives in a poor signal area.

All I can tell you is that out of all my smartphones thus far, Nokia's N80, N95, N95 8GB. N97, N8 and Android Nexus One, the SGSII has one of the best antenna's and does not suffer from loss of signal like the iPhone when held in the hand.

It is no use asking about signal bars either as there is no direct comparison between manufacturers as to what constitutes a 2 or a 3 signal bar. It is totally arbitary on their part as Apple showed when they changed their signal bar levels.
