Delayed already?

With the Moto X suppose to come out the 23rd, the shuffle might be Motorola's doing to try and catch an initial wave on those rather than the Verizon Droid branded phones.

+1 to this. I just left a VZW owned store and was told the same by the rep assisting me. The ship date on the web site does not reflect the release date of the phone.
 
I really can't stand Verizon. I pre-ordered mine on Friday August 22nd. Got confirmation number that night (ordered mine over the phone) but never received a tracking number.

Called this afternoon and was told my order was cancelled on August 12th? WTF VZW? Spoke to two different CSR's who did not know why. Was told they could pre-order it again but that I would have to wait until the 27th now to get mine. Not acceptable. I was also never notified of this cancellation. Said I had to speak to a supervisor, forwarded me to him but got his voice mail. Now I am stuck in limbo since I really need this phone for my job.

Long story short, I hate Verizon.

When did you order it??? August 22nd????. I assume you meant August 2nd. I like to order on line and print everything out. Mine is enroute to deliver on tuesday.

What about just going in store and getting it on the 20th?
