Help Delayed Text Messages

Sometimes I receive text messages quite some time after people have sent them even though I have network coverage, i've heard of other people with Android phones experiencing the same problem, is there any fix for this?

I don't think it has anything to do with your phone, but rather your network.

Yep defo a carrier issue. Have a friend who had this problem on O2. Messages could take several hours to arrive. He spoke to their CS and issue was resolved.

Yep, it's the network, I get it occationally with Orange.

Nothing to worry about it just happens when the network/mast are overloaded.
