Help Delete a folder using ES File Explorer

[pwabrahams]

I'm running Android on an LG-P705 phone. I can navigate down the file tree. But when I'm in a folder that contains other folders, I can't figure out how to delete one of the contained folders. Whenever I click on the contained folder, it's opened. I don't see any menu that would give me the option of deleting it. This ought to be a pretty straightforward action.

Long press the folder and you should see a small box with a tick inside in the top right corner of the folder. Once you see that hit the delete button on the menu bar

Hi

Long press the folder until a ticked check box appears next to it. Then use the menu options (that appear) to delete it

pugs beat me to it by milliseconds!
