Help delete contacts

hi guys

does any one know how to delete my all list of contacts from my htc magic i have 698 contacts and i want to delete them all
please help

Hi Perilous

if you go to http://www.google.com/contacts on a PC and sign in to the same Google account as on your phone -> Now you should see all your contacts -> Click "Select: all" on the Page -> Now after they are all highlighted -> Go to "Delete contacts" on the Right hand side of the page and click it -> All your contacts are now gone from your phone {Make sure your phone is on and connected to the internet to successfully sync} and PC!

Please note : Once they are deleted they are gone and their is no way to retrieve them unless you have made a back up
