delete home screens

My phone in my pocket added two home screens so now I have seven and I dont know how to delete them

On the home screen pinch from top to bottom, or bottom to top and the screen should show the seven. Then just long tap and drag the ones you don't want into the trash can much like you would to remove a widget or app icon from the home screen,
