Don't know the S4 player, but if all else fails you could get a file manager from the Play Store (I use a free one called File Manager) and delete the file from the SD card / internal memory.
If you're using Play Music (the Google player) it's a total PITA: you have to:
- tap the bottom bar with the play/pause button to get the track to maximise
- tap the menu button in the top right hand corner
- tap Go to Album
- tap the menu button on the right of the track you want to delete
- tap Delete
- tap OK
Why require two taps when you can require 20? One of the myriad reasons Play Music is the worst music player EVER!
