Help Delete OTA update?

Hey all. New here although I've been a lurker for a while. I accidentally downloaded the update on my Motion. I'm currently on C, and would like to keep it that way. I keep getting a reminder to install it but I don't want to. Is there any way to delete the download? I've read elsewhere on other phones that you can delete the file in the cashe but I can't seem to find one on the motion. Thanks fit your time.

if you are rooted you can use root explorer and go to system/app/ LgFotaClient.apk and rename it to LgFotaClient.bak

I have read that tutorial before but I have not tried it out. I was under the assumption that was just to stop the notifications. I've already downloaded it and now it constantly asks me to install right after I cancel. Will this stop the install notice even though I have already downloaded it and its ready for install? Id really just like to get rid of the already downloaded update do I don't install by accident.
