I have an HTC One running 4.2.2 and I am using the stock email application connected to 2 Exchange accounts. Everything syncs perfectly between the phone and the computer. It appears that everything in Deleted Items more than 2 days old has been permanently removed from both the phone and computer. I cannot find a setting to turn off automatic emptying of deleted items.
