Deleted Something - On/off & Back switch stopped working

[Android Question]

I deleted something while making space and now my power button and back buttons don't work. Tried factory reset, same result. Resetting it will bring it back up, but that's not very practical.
Any idea what files control these switches and where I could download them?

You have not said what type of phoneit is so its hard to help I dont know where to start as I beieved that the power button could not be disabled normally. Unless your phone i rooted it is very unlikely that you could have deleted files controlling these buttons.

I would suggest installing "button savior" from playstore as a temporary measure which will give you on screen back and off buttons (on is a bit tricky!) while you try to find the solution. Perhaps register and ask the question again in the forum specific to your device.
