Deleted texts

Hi,
I've heard that there is a possibility to see the deleted messages/ call logs on a phone on a pdf file.
From what I understood you can't actually see the message, just the time and date it was deleted and who was it for.
Does anyone know such thing? And if so, does anyone know how to delete the records from the phone? (I think it's flash memory)

Thank you!

Probably yes....if you're from a law enforcement agency and have a warrant, the carrier will oblige, as the carrier must keep all records of messages sent and received.

From the phone itself, no chance, if it was deleted, it's gone from a consumer standpoint.

By "on a pdf" do you mean an itemised phone bill? If so then yes, you'll be able to see calls you made/messages you sent, but only when and to who, not content. I guess in the States you might see incoming too, since they charge to receive stuff there.

As Mike says, if you delete messages/call log entries on the phone they are gone, unless you have a backup. The carrier will still have a record of course, nothing you can do about that (since you seem to be asking how to delete stuff rather than how to recover it).
