How can I block the caller from recording my calls by muting my voice

Recently someone I called blocked me from recording his calls, which means his voice was muted in the call recording
If I'm understanding correctly, you're both trying to record your calls...but you both want your own voices muted, so you're not recorded in those calls? Or am I completely off-base? Please clarify.

Also, depending on where you're both located, it may be illegal to record calls without both parties consenting.

Since it kind of sounds like an acrimonious relationship, maybe blocking each other would be a better idea...

from what i understood, the op called somebody, and that person knew he was being recorded and somehow muted his voice on the recorded call.....i think i got that part right. i'm not sure how that can be done though. the question i have is how did that person being called know he was being recorded? did the op let him know?

Ha ha, I think we're both scratching our heads. :D

I've never heard of such a thing. I can record any calls with my phone, no matter who's calling.

What device have you got there, what service and/or app are you actually using, what country are you in, are there any local laws or ordinances prohibiting call recording there?
