Deleting bookmarks & videos help please

I have the samsung acclaim, which has both videos & bookmarks I would like to delete, can someone please explain to me how to do this? I read the booklet on deleting videos, it didn't work. & There is no explanation anywhere I can find on how to delete bookmarks. Thanks for any sugguestions
