Deleting Messages

I can't delete any of my messages from Handcent or the default messaging app. What should I do to get rid of them? It is really bothering me.

How many have you built up?

There's a bit of an issue with building up too many messages (like over a thousand), that it won't be able to delete them too well

and can you delete them one at a time?

There is an app if you want to delete all the messages by a certain date... lol, it's in the market. It might do what you want.

I don't think it allows the discriminate selection by thread, just ALL messages past a certain date. So just beware, it will apply the deletion to ALL threads...
But for the people who cannot delete at all I think this might help.

If you are worried about losing some threads then there are SMS, MMS etc., backup apps as well you can use prior to deletion.

I had already found that app and was already deleting before i read that last post lol... weird.... thanks
