deleting old playlists?

I have a small problem on my S G tab 3 tablet. I have a few songs (28) that i have transferred to my tablet from my pc. I have managed to add them to a playlist and listen through the built in music player that came with my tablet. I had a little problem when I first figured how to set the playlist up and ended up with 6 lists that show in the menu, labeled 1 to 6. All my songs are on the last one (6) and 1 to 5 are empty, but they still show on the menu. How can I delete those invalid playlists from showing on the menu? No way can I find how to delete playlists. I would appreciate any help anybody can give me with this problem.
