Deleting Songs from device not library

I need to free up some space on my phone so want to delete some music. If I press the songs to delete it says to delete them from the Library rather than just the device. The latest iteration of Google Music doesn't have a pin and unpin button. Can anyone help me with this as my phone is not rooted I can't get to the music files. Do I need to uninstall Music Play and add then back?

Ok if the music is local (meaning on the device and not the cloud) then a simple solution would be to use an app like Airdroid to help manage files on your phone. This app uses a wifi so no cables needed. Alternatively you could just get a File Manager like ES FileExplorer and use that directly on the device.
