Help Deleting Text Messages

I was bought this phone on Saturday for my birthday and just trying to figure it all out at the moment.

When I want to delete text messages, I can only get an option to delete the thread and not individual text messages.

Can anyone tell me how I can delete individual text messages?

Hi,

Try pressing down on the text for a short amount of time, it should bring up some options, one of them should delete just the text message and not the whole lot of them.

It's quite tricky though, I keep clicking copy lol.
