Deleting widgets on 2.1

when i trying to remove widgets off the screen it starts shaking crazy after trying to hold it down and then it shows me all 7 screens. does anyone else have this problem ? im trying to make my eris look cool =/

No problem for me, I've removed both widgets and apps from the home screen, and it's worked the same as it did on 1.5.
