Help Delivery Reports

Anyone know how to get sms delivery reports? Ive "ticked" delivery reports in the message settings but I'm still not getting any audible notification of an sms being delivered??

Does a delivery report only come as a sound? On my phone account they are shown as txt messages but, if they are, I don't get them (or I can't find them anywhere).

Thank you for you reply which is interesting as my telco (and others) charges it as an sms message.

Delivery reports is also Network Provider dependant.
For example, if you are on O2, you won't get delivery reports even if the option is ticked (at least this was the case for my previous phones as I can't say for sure on the GS2 as I'm now on Orange) To get delivery reports on O2 you need to start your SMS with "*0# " (asterix zero hash space)
