Please help me, I have been using Dell Streak for sometimes now but now I could not slide on the system even when is slide on the touch screen is not working. Please I need your help on what to do.

Good morning Liamo!, welcome, Fashotito: Are you referring to the lock screen where you are trying to slide the unlock upward so to get to your streak desktop or home screen? if not, can you provide some more detail on what "slide on the system" mean?

If its the lock screen, do you feel or hear a 'thump'-like vibration when you touch that green icon at the bottom trying to slide it upward or does it not make a vibration at all when you try to unlock it?


If the screen is not damaged, try the slide at the top that locks it also , try sliding it downward. When my screen sporadically was unresponsive, I had to do quick upward motions on the unlock until it finally gained its momentum.

you can always take the battery out and let it stay off or a while then place it back in and bootup.
