Help Demand 5 app (uk) incompathible with my device?

Hey peeps. My phone (oneplus one, fully stock unrooted) wont install the UK tv catchup app, Demand 5 saying its incompatible
Any idea why? (Not rooted so havent messed around with DPI or anything).

Because it's an off-beat Chinese phone(you can't buy the OnePlus in the UK high street) and it's not on the list of supported devices probably. When I was in the UK last summer, I tried my father's Sky Go on my Oppo Find 7, and that didn't want to know either. On his Samsung Tab it's fine.

Could always try contacting CH5, and "demand" they make their app compatible with the OnePlus.

Things like BBC iPlayer are not nearly so fussy, and will run on pretty much anything. Sure it's because of DRM, and they're terrified that an unknown device could defeat or crack the DRM.

Sure Hulu and Netflix are the same, they'll only run on certain "approved", "compatible" devices, on the other hand China Central Television's(CCTV) CBox app, that runs on anything, and doesn't even have to be in China.

Ahh I never even thought about the phone being Chinese. That makes sense bro. I'll mail the dev tomorrow.
