Hi,
I've had an android tablet for nearly a year running without any trouble. I live in Perth, Australia.
Today I downloaded some games for my granddaughter, and now every 5 seconds or so I am getting a message "android.process.acore unexpectedly stopped working"
So I'll go to the forum and hope to find someone who can help me.

Hello and welcome to Android Forums, Derk. Unfortunately, this error message has been a 'vexatious' problem for a lot of Androiders. I've narrowed down the caused of this to a few "installed applications," and it seems like the application you have installed - is one of them.

You could uninstall/reinstall the said application to see if it fixes the problem. Good luck.
