I searched this forum for keywords but no result. I found references to this message on various forums but no thread related to the specific problem I am having:
Seemingly at random, an MMS message is received from various names in my message inbox however none of the people is actually sending me an MMS.
The notification message says "- Generic Failure Message Not Downloaded"
I have contacted the people and they say no they did not send me an MMS. There is no pattern other than that it comes from the same small number of people.
I never send MMSs myself and no one is sending me MMSs.
Does anyone know how to stop this happening?
My phone is an HTC Desire.
