Desire HD Charger

Alright guys. This'll be my third post today.. Sorry about that.
But although it may seem like a reaallyy stupid question, I can't seem to get my head around the Desire HD mains charger.
How do I assemble it??

It's like lego... you fit the big unit with HTC on it, into the grooves of the wall charger bit and you twist it right till it clicks and then you insert the usb cable...
Then plug into wall, this is the important part, turn the power on at wall socket and attach cable to phone and wait till the orange light comes on... walk away for a hour and two then check the battery level on your phone.

Try it in different plug suckets if prob still continues.
