Desire S Abroad

Just a quick question regarding signal and usage abroad.

Will my Desire S work in Cyprus? I plan on heading out next Saturday for a week and would like to keep in touch just to call home every so often, so was wondering if I will need anything extra or it will just connect to the provider over there automatically and I will have to pay a bit extra for calls home?

Your phone will be compatible with Cypriot networks, but check with your network provider that you're set up to use their service for roaming. I'm on a contract with Orange where roaming is a standard feature.
