Hi guys i managed to get root on my phone (HTC Desire S) and install a custom recovery (4ext) aswell as putting a custom rom on it (cyn) but my hboot version is still 2.0 and my phones still s-on and i'd really like it to be s-off.
the guides i've seen to get s-off require me to have a lower hboot and i don't know how to downgrade the hboot for my phone.
my phone is also unlocked but if i try relocking like a guide for downgrading hboot says to than my phone gets stuck in an infinite hboot cycle till its unlocked again.
i don't mind having to flash it with a new rom or anything as i've yet to put my stuff back on my phone.
what i basically want at the end of the day is my phone to have s-off custom recovery and custom rom.
so does anyone know how i can do this.
