Android Version: HTC Desire 2.2 unrooted
Network: Vodafone
Taskiller Used?: NO
Ive been using my desire for around 4 months now, and begun to notice small delays/ half second lags recently that were not previously there. Such lags are mostly noticed while typing (not restricted to any particular app). Ive monitored the CPU usage over days with System Panel, and found nothing out of the ordinary ... except for the apps that are running as soon as i reboot my phone.
After a fresh reboot, under the "running" tab in my Applications, i notice apps like Photoshop Express, Footprints, Stock Music, Peep, Flickr, AK Notepad and a few more.
I DONT use flickr, footprints, Stock music player, and Peep at all (never).
Notepad and Photoshop are very seldom and i see no reason to have it running at startup.
Questions:
1. Although i know Android will kill the apps when the memory is required, will it be able to kill it fast enough while im doing something like typing and memory is required ? thus the cause for the small lags i notice while typing?
2. Even if the startup apps are not the cause for the typing lag i notice, does this necessarily mean that the more apps i install, the more apps im gonna have firing themselves up at startup, and in turn more apps fighting over resource during boot ?
