Root !Desperate need Help

I was trying to root my phone using this thread-http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1852546
Everything went fine until it finished and i tried to restart the pone and it would just switch on and off.
Any help will be appreciated
I have a Samung Galaxy S I9000
I can aces clockworkmod and Download mode

what you need to do is reflash either the stock rom in download mode using odin from your computer and usb cable or you can just flash a custom rom with rom via your custom recovery mode. what happened is you most like did 1 of the steps wrong or the root process wasnt for your firmware version.

I flashed a custom Rom true Odin,and everything is fine now.
