Help desperate

I am new here and already i have a problem. simply can anybody help me sort out the wife's galaxy s gt19000. yesterday she was tweeting via wifi then she tried tweetcaster the phone then switched off and every since as been unsuccessful in getting it to work again.

fault now stands at switched on the galaxy symbol appears the dissapears after a min or two it vibrates occassionaly but nothing else.

reloaded kies on my pc to connect phone to.

Have you removed the battery and restarted it?

Hmmm, are both the soft buttons illuminated as well?

Sounds a bit like the problem I had and I'm afraid the only way I could get it going again was through factory reset.

Others with similar issue suspect a app problem.
