Help Determine what's using GPS

Does anyone know of a way to tell what's using the GPS connection at any given time?

I just rebooted my D4 and the GPS icon has been up in the notification bar for 15 minutes. I haven't opened any apps yet since the reboot.

I have the weather widget on but that's it. I turned off "use my location" on that widget and it's still going. I disabled GPS temporarily, then turned it back on, and it came back right away.

Are there any 3rd party (or system) apps that will tell me what app is using my GPS connection so I can get to the bottom of this? Thanks!

There may be a GPS monitoring app available in Android Market.

Typical apps and widgets that use GPS, if configured to allow it, are: weather and news, camera, browser, email/gmail, maps, navigation, search, voice search, etc.

I keep mine turned off when at home and not using that stuff. When out I turn it on for more accurate location of me (well, my phone ;)) in case of an emergency.
