Determining what is waking my tablet?

rsarno

Thank Me, Im Irish!
hello all

I have 2 screenys here (1 HC, 1 ICS). They show that my TF201 tablet is being woken up a lot, even when im not using it (screen off).

I posted this here because i figured its more of an android thing, and less specific to the TF201 tablet. Feel free to move as needed.

Thank you.

Must be some system process, like media scanning or pinging.

You only notice battery use while the screen is on anyways, that's not big deal in my opinion.

I agree not such a huge deal, in fact the TF201 has AMAZING standy times (as seen in screens)

But i would def like a way to track whats going on. And there is def some form of draw going on even when screen is off, as seen in the images. Not drastic, but definitely existing.

Not saying anything is wrong at all, but if i can isolate and possibly eliminate/reduce those apps waking the device, i may be able to improve on my personal battery life.

I originally thought it was my NewsRob sort of apps ... so i have disabled them and will check overnight.

thanks again
