Root Dev Needed... 2.1 Running on the Behold 2

I know this is a stupid question... How can I install this new OS version in my BH2?

I am very tire of incompetent technical support of T-mobile, I changed my phone 3 times and I already decided do something for myself.
A new OS version could resolve all those proble...

Please, anybody could help me...
 
It is by no means useable. I loaded this and although it was nice to see the "Future". There are multiple Force Closes, no sound, The home is Laggy. Unless you REALLY want to help fix the issues We'll just have to wait.

just want to see if your f/c's were consistent with mine... i flashed it on friday and got a f/c for basically just the keyboard... as for the home being laggy, that is true and no sound, also been stated before, so that's consistent with my findings as well.

To put your phone in download mode. turn your phone off then. Press volume down,the middle button and call end at the same time. That's download mode. Now you can flash using odin..
 
well the 2.1 home starts to speed up the longer you have it on. as for the f/c for the com.android.inputmethod.latin ...... i can't get it to frickin stop.... lol
 
well that's still not helping lol. oh well. prolly shouldn't be tweaking around with 2.1 cuz i don't really have the skills needed...although i wish i could find a way to learn lol. i'll just sit back and tweak around with no twiz....lol

BH_MAN I hope you haven't given up on this yes. I just put the cyanogen 2.1 mod on my G1 and I hope to get a 2.1 mod on my Behold 2 by you...I just hope you do it with the kick ass camera everything else can go as far as I am concerned. I love the 1.6 stock ROM you made. It got me home when I was lost one night, thank you. Can't wait to see live wall papers on my Behold 2. Just please if you do it with TWIZ please no bloatware, lol. If you need testers, let me know. I have cyanogen 2.1 on my G1 and a friend with a nexus one and another with a droid, so I know how 2.1 is supposed to act.
 
Man,its a shame that you gotta do everything yourself,i never understood why there isnt more developers working on this phone.Some android phones been out a month and have like 10 2.1 modded roms already.They should give you a noble for doin this sht singlehandedly.
 
So it's down to Wi-Fi, Camera, and (of course) Vibrate not working. And just some minor Tweaking of the sound. Sounds good :D

Sound only works through the Headset... But, If you make a Call no sound at all :(
I wonder if it works on BT though LMAO... If the Cat didn't lose my BT I would totally use it that way.

I can answer that its because its not exactly a popular phone especially with the horrible reviews they received which makes people believe that it would be a waste of time developing for a ghost town basically. Not to mention I doubt its as easy as Cyanogen Mod for all HTC, everyone wants to help the popular guy (no offense to anyone) and Does Moto Cliq even have root yet? Most devs like basic android and not all the extra stuff like twiz or motoblur.

Thats my guess.

Lol well if you find that headset it seems plausible if you got bt working... then you could just say finished and get a bt headset to use it lol jk that would be bad.
