Hi,

My name is Ashley. I am from England. I am a software developer, have been doing it for 8 years now.

I have just purchased my first android based device, I have had iOS powered devices for years.

Just got bored of iOS so fancied a change and given that I can programme in Java I will be looking to further develop my knowledge on the Android SDK whilst getting the most out of my phone.

I own a Samsung Galaxy Nexus running Android 4.0.

I have already found a few bugs/niggles so I will be searching away for answers on here.

Look forward to learning from this forum.

Thanks

Hi,

Why is the Gnex bound to have an issue or two? Cause its the only one running 4.0?

Having looked at the SDK I can already see its going to be great fun getting my teeth into it.

I love having issues with my phones lol

I will check out those sections out

Thanks

Partly because it's the first phone with ICS (4.0) and partly because it's a Nexus, which means it will be pushing an envelope or two. Don't get me wrong. It looks to be a stellar handset, but put it in the hands of us Nexus owning geeks enthusiasts, and we're going to push it to it's limits (and beyond).

haha I can imagine what you guys could do to it :)

Yeah we I was looking around it was between the SII and the Gnex. SII seemed to have the legs on Gnex in terms of performance but I was sold on the screen to be honest.
