Developing an Android app : Virtual Companion with voice interaction

I am currently developing an app that would create a virtual companion for my master thesis that will allow user to talk with a virtual friend when he wants to talk with as a friend.
The objective is to have a companion and can talk with like human.
Can you help me on this matter?
