Apps Developing issue

Hi friends,

I am new comer in android development, I am doing a lock app now, but unfortunately stuck with some issue. my lock app is working on all apps installed in phone except whatsapp, fb app etc.., these apps where running in background all the times. i think that's the issue my lock app is not working on such apps. can anybody have any solution to solve this.
Please help me...
