Hi,
my name ist Thomas and I'm a web developer from Germany. I would like to ask if there's a problem with html comboboxes while using android browsers?
The problem I ask about is not rendering/interpreting comboboxes - that's okay ! - but the reaction of the browser after selecting an option by the user.
I select an option, but then - after the dropdown list was closed - the selected value is not shown in the field. How can this be? Is it a programming error? I can't understand it, because it is pure html! It is a normal html combobox! What happens after I select a value? Why is the selected value not there in the field?
I know I'm a beginner programming web sites for mobile phones. But I don't understand why there's a problem using html standard comboboxes.
Can you help me?
