How about the admins close the HTC Desire forum with only 5 old threads in it, and because it IS the DROID Eris. I dont know about you fellow eris users but it sounds reasonable to me.

Besides root should be coming soon, so why not prepare for it.

Maybe it could be changed to "Eris on Android 2.x" after the 2.x drop happens. A lot of the posts in this forum - especially those that deal with quirks or workarounds for Android 1.5 behaviors will no longer be correct - or relevant.

Just a thought, anyway.

im aiming for a full eris development forum. a simple thread could cover eris 2.x lol. there is more to development than just 2.whatever...custom roms...........kernel improvements.....libs....what about when android 3.x comes out...should we create a whole new forum.....no, we just need a dev forum.
