Help Device does not support software upgrade via Kies (after successful update of GNote to ICS 4.0.4)

Hi guys, i just want to know what's wrong with my device???!!! i love my galaxy note more than any units out there, had iphone then S2 then my Galaxy Note. i was waiting patiently for the updates since 2.3.4 GB. Originally, i had a Greece CSC from stock ROM GB bought from a shop her in KSA. then i upgraded to the 2.3.6 UAE. then 4.0.3 UAE...all was well and i was afraid of the Rooting methods so i waited and waited until the other day i had successfully installed the 4.0.4 ICS UAE (it is the update detected by my Kies)

My Galaxy Note now reads:
PDA:N7000JPLR8
PHONE: N7000XXLRK
CSC: N7000JPLR8
Build Info: Tue Jul 31 18:39:48 KST 2012

After the successful install and reboot...tadaaaaaa!!! Your device does not support software upgrade via Kies.

I am worrying what could have happened since i know i installed it correctly following Kies instructions. Tried uninstalling Kies and Reinstalling but to no avail. Rebooted and battery taken on and off to my precious Galaxy Note as well. But i had the same message though other functions like backing up etc works just fine so i know it isnt USB or hardware issues.

As i am waiting for the 4.1 JB update and faithfully checking on Kies once in a while, that message gives me the creeps!!!

Tried checking the CSC code too (the *#272*IMEI# and mine gives (EUR) for Greece, the same when i bought mine months ago.

Please help me for im not that android savvy...im afraid of tinkering my system since i heard this eMMC bug and i was sooooo paranoid of bricking my Note. I dont want to root my phone to downgrade or is it the only possible way???Please help!!!! (by the way the ICS 4.0.4 Germany is better than my UAE's) totally envious:smokingsomb:

Happened to me as well. I had to replace my phone tnrouh the warranty to get one to work.

Is there no other way? i dont have problems on my phone actually.it is working perfectly well except that i cannot upgrade software through Kies anymore after installing ICS 4.0.4.. and software isnt covered with the warranty.

ANyone with the same problem as mine?please help

yesterday i tried to update my note to 4.04 over the air...but installation failed...now not booting up...

it just shows

manual mode
appling multi csc
aplied the csc code xsg
successfully applied multi csc

and not starting............

help me please...............

You cannot use OTA but must update via Kies.

Did you try connecting to Kies? with that in mind, is it possible that Failed OTA updating (in the process of downloading software to Gnote) causes soft bricks? sorry for not being helpful. try rebooting again after detaching battery. if it still doesnt work, flash your previous OS in the download mode using odin.
