Help Device got half rooted and cant unroot

I recently rooted my Samsung galaxy note 8.0 (gt-n5100) with kingo root. Since it installs kingo superuser and not supersu I tried to get supersu instead through

http://www.w0lfdroid.com/2015/05/How-to-Remove-Replace-KingUser-KingRoot-with-SuperSU.html

but that failed and my device got unrooted,as this was for kinguser and not kingouser. I tried using odin after that but that didn't work and my device remained unrooted. Now my system contains su in xbin and both the supersu and kingo superuser apks which I can't delete. I can't uninstall root through kingo either it says no permission. Now I cant use Google play store at all, and my Google sync doesn't work, neither does YouTube. I tried fixing the Google play store no connection issue but couldn't as that requires editing the hosts file and I can't do that without root access. (tried every other method other than a factory reset). Please help me out here, I'm basically stuck and can't root my phone OR unroot it, I can't use play store, sync my Google accounts, nothing. I made a huge mistake trying to replace kingo superuser :'(

I've used the script method by Wolfdroid to replace Kingouser but I had to do a few extra steps also. Once you run the script, it doesn't remove Kingouser user but allows you to install SuperSu binary. Once binary installed I used Titanium Backup (paid) to convert Kingouser from a system app to a user app then Uninstalled it. I have used this on several Samsung and Casio phones

The script I used didn't work at all, since every single step failed except for installing supersu, since it searches for 'kinguser' and not kingo superuser.
Will flashing back to stock wipe my data? I'm on stock anyway so idk.

I tried flashing using a rom for my country downloaded from sammobile but it failed immediately (on latest odin) , I tried using an older version of odin but that failed too :/. If I could just get Google services to work again, I'd be really happy.

Look on your phone, settings- about phone. Scroll down to baseband version and build number and see if the last 3 characters match. Also compare that to the firmware you downloaded and tired to flash. Also on settings -about phone -status, check to see if your IMEI number is correct, matches what is under battery. Check your date and time settings, sometimes wrong settings will not let you sync Google or let you connect to play store
