Help device is modified

When i try to check for software updates it says: "Your device has been modified. Software updates are not available." And the device's status is "modified". Why ? What's modified device ? Thank u !
 
Did you buy the phone new? Its just that you should only have that problem if youve modified it. You can still update the phone manualy very easily and safely but that doesnt explain why youre gettin the modified status :confused:
In Settings, About Device, Status, what does it say?
 
I bought new about 9 months ago ... And the status is modified :/ What is the latest sgs3 update ? I have the 4.1.2 ? And you said it can be done manually, how ? Thank u
 
I tried now to check again and it worked, and the device's status is normal i dont know how or what happened and i didnt do nothing, not even rebooting the phone :eek:
 
Some apps will change the status, but usually something that's designed to access settings you wouldn't normally mess with.

Installing "secure settings" for use with Tasker is one of these apps.

system status its. custom

its this correct and if not how can i change this please any help
