Help Device low on memory

IX 7 III

Newbie
Two weeks ago I got my maxx. I added like 60 or so apps n I have a ton of songs. All songs and all the apps I could move are on my 32GB card. All messages get deleted at the end if the week. Browser history, cookies and cache automatically get cleared.

Available space for apps is 2.38gb
Internal space is 7.20GB
25.09GB left on my sd card

Why am I getting a device low on memory message?

Thx in advance

I'm new here and i'm just trying to get the best possible experience with my maxx.

What can I say, technology isnt perfect. Stuff like that happen to be
For instance, my phone is set to slow down its processing speed when it gets to a certain temperature, when it does get to that temperature and it cools down, my phone still thinks its at that temperature and it remains slow.
Its just that sometimes signals sent to the CPU are processed incorrectly.

Maybe a reboot, or a complete drain of your battery will set things straight

The limitation is ram, which the maxx has 1GB(not bad!). Not all apps can be moved to sd/storage and even those that do leave some part in ram. Games in particular can eat up a ton of ram. Also, I've had problems with some games that can be moved to sd failing to move after being played. Uninstalling (and loosing any progress) and re installing corrects the issue and they can be moved. The best advice beyond that is to prune out a few of the apps you use least. Good luck!

I'm going to move this over to the maxx section where it should get better attention!

Well, having an Incredible, and thinking about picking up a MAXX, this is definitely not what I wanted to see.
I too have the DInc...I believe that the fix for that "low memory" issue was clearing out the cache. HTC designated a very low amount of memory available for that purpose.
