Help Device management running wild

What the heck? My phone was repeatedly dying today and got to the point it wouldn't even turn on. I was busy with something else and didn't pay it too much attention until tonight when I couldn't boot the phone. Now that I have it connected to the charger via USB to the computer I see that my battery is at 0% and the device management icon is continuously displayed in the notification bar (the red/blue slanted arrows). Apparently the phone is trying to upload from AT&T, probably something to do with the WIFI security leak or possibly the sideloading capability I think I read something about but regardless, it isn't loading. The back cover of the phone is notably hot.

I am rooted so I tried to run the super 1-click unroot but it fails the install. Any suggestions?

Update: The phone is now unrooted but still continues to try connecting to the DM server and then locks up requiring a battery pull. That only restarts the entire sequence.

More update: I went to the software update section of the settings and there is an option there for 'resume update' but when I select that it tells me 'no firmware'.

cappy doesnt do the "full" update ota. it uses kies if unrooted. i personally would back up and go all the way through aio with flashback to stock for a full on reset. hate to make ya start over but its for the best.
