Device not switching off.

Hi there.

Just installed the latest checkrom, but this cant have a bearing, because the issue existed while runiing MIUI.

The device doesnt power off. Whe ever I power off any ROM it seems to just do a reboot. I cant seem to find any info on this.

Wondering if anyone had anything I could try at all?

Did you follow these instructions when flashing CheckROM over MIUI?

"Q: I'm coming from a different ROM how can i install this ROM ?

A: Follow the steps below
Get into the CWM recovery
Wipe Data/factory reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik-Cache
Wipe Battery Stats
Wipe Data/factory reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik-Cache
Wipe Battery Stats
Install the wipe version of this ROM"

My suggestion would be to try flashing a stock Samsung Galaxy SII ROM via Odin to see if this cures the problem:-
