device sync issues

[Android Question]

A few months ago, my phone calendar started syncing with a friend of mine's. He also has a droid device, but I'm not sure on the type of phone. The issue was never resolved, so anytime I enter something on my phone calendar, it also shows up on his. Well today, I set up my the device locator through the Android Device Manager and when I went to the phone locator site (https://www.google.com/android/devicemanager) both my phone and my friend's are showing up. He has double checked his google settings and his phone is setup with his credentials and I've done the same.

Has anyone else had this problem? It's almost as if google synced our user accounts in their database somehow...

I've never seen that problem before, but I'm sure Google can figure it out. Their number is 1 650 253 0000 I'm sure someone there will know where to direct your call to start troubleshooting.

I suggest that both you and your friend be together when you make the call, and that you have both phones available and fully charged. Annd use a third phone to call them, since you may have to restart both of your cellphones a few times.

My first guess would have been that you both have the same email address in your phones, or that you have your calendars linked on https://www.google.com/calendar/render but you said you checked those things already.
