Motorola DEVOUR with MOTOBLUR - Motorola USA

I'd also like to point out that the Motorola Calgary was the original codename for the Devour. I think the Calgary and Devour forums could be merged.

If you have ANY questions regarding this phone, I can answer them.

And that was Megan Fox holding the Devour in the motorola commercial. Topic of conversation if I ever meet her ;).

i wish the droid had the same physical keyboard as the devour.

I heard the keyboard is horrible, if you have used the Moto Rival. Its similiar to that.

A Vendor does have them already, but Verizon will not let them ship the phone yet. The Vendor is trying to get Verizon to allow them to ship them before the release date. So I don't know when they will be shipped.

I love the keyboard on this phone. It is SO much better than the Droid's keyboard. The keys are nicely space. They can be a tad slick if you're thumbs are dry but that's hardly an issues. The only slightly odd thing it the space bar being in the same row as Z, X, C, V, B, N, and M. It took a little getting used to, but after that you can fly.

just wondering, has anyone heard anything about the Devour getting a 2.1 update or is it stuck with back on 1.6?
With the Droid and Eris getting 2.1 I was just wondering about the middle of the road VZW phone

i like this phone but i already have a droid and a eris and i can't see myself buying basically another droid..with motoblur

I personally like the Droid better with the exception of the keyboard - where the Devour definitely excels.

I've personally never used the Eris, though I love the look of its default set up. I don't know if I would like the lack of a physical keyboard though.

Most people my age (17, I know, tough to respect the opinion of a teenager) tend to love the Devour. Quite a few actually like it more than an Iphone. It's even more popular amongst girls (it's NOT a girly phone, girls just have good taste?).

Just like to point out that I dropped it from 6 feet up onto a asphalt driveway. Boy, what a thud.

Still alive and kicking, some scratches on the metal but still works perfectly!
