Help Dex2oat,android system,so android and media server drain battery.

I recently bought a new phone with android 6.0 on it. I saw that there was a software update and I updated it. After the update was done, I looked at what apps are draining my battery and then I saw dex2oat,android system,so android and media server drain the most out of my battery. They weren't there before the update and now they are draining my battery. What happend?

If your phone is new and you don't have many apps running, it's normal for the media server to be on top of the list.

Total battery capacity is different from total amount of mAh actually used. You can use app like Power Battery to see how many mAh an app has used.

dex2oat is a utility used when installing or updating applications, so that was likely just a remnant of your "Android is upgrading" phase that you saw after the initial/first reboot after the system/software update.

So that particular program will not likely be an ongoing issue for you.
