Root DHD freezes when left with wifi active

strange one, but this always happens. i enable wifi, its fine, leave the phone for a short while and then go back to it and its still fine, but when i leave it for a longer period with wifi enabled, the phone freezes when i go back to it. i just cant get the screen up, power off, nothing. i have to remove battery and reboot.
i hardly ever use wifi, so i know this is the problem, as it does it every time i DO use it.

any ideas on this one? im using ARHD btw.

im still having this problem and havent found an answer yet. any suggestions please? its the only problem i have with ARHD, so itd be a shame to switch roms just because of this. ive tried a fresh instal of the rom btw.

Never had that problem with either version of ARHD. On IceColdSandwich now and that's got no wifi problems either.
