Help DHD keeps dropping WiFi connection

I've had this problem for about a week now, but haven't installed any system updates or rooted or anything like that.

Basically, once my screen switches off the phone loses WiFi access. When I switch the screen back on I'm still connected to the WiFi network but no data will come through.

The only way to fix it is by turning WiFi off and on again. WiFi settings haven't changed in that time but for those interested it is set to never turn off.

Any ideas what is causing this?

Thanks

Have you tried changing the sleep policy in settings to always on. There is also a use best WiFi option (may use more battery)

As I said in the OP the WiFi setting is already set to be always on/never turn off so it isn't that causing the problem

I've got the exact problem, I was thinking it might be my router but my laptop never falls in and out of my Wifi. I haven't got the problem on my phone now but i had the problem last night, maybe a restart of the phone might help or reconnect to the router?
