Diablo-ish?

Hi All,

I have recently killed my N95 and I am going to pick up a Galaxy S or Desire some time soon. I have been doing a lot of trawling around the web to try and 'get' Android. As an avid gamer (PC, 360, PS3, sorta Wii) the first thing I will want to do is PLAY!

Something that comes to me is a Diablo clone of hacking and slashing (with a little levelling) would suit a phone, heck I played Diablo on PC with the same res as the Galaxy! Is there anything out there like that? I see Windows Mobile have a version of Diablo but not Android.

Gameloft's Dungeon Hunter is supposed to be like a Diablo type of game.
Check out the gameloft web site for it and you tube has plenty of videos.

Cheers guys I'll be sure to hit that up on Monday when I grab my new phone from Newquay. Leaning heavily towards a SGS, will wait til I can have a physical play with them though.

PS. NZtf, I hope you won't mind me hitting you up for some help on getting my new phone (brought here in the UK) working, if I need it, once I am back in wintery NZ :)

I take it you don't have your SGS yet?
 
...Oooh just saw they have HAWX as well, that was a fun shooter on my PC (and looked good at 5760x1200 ;)) and a laugh for some one with my experience.

probably pick that up as well, has the intelligence level for a mighty quick blast on the phone... sounds good with the accelerometer.
 
OK I have my Galaxy S, and I LOVE IT!

buuuuuut (there is always a but) If I search the market place for Dungeon Hunter I only get the SDK (Free) not the game... any ideas?
 
All the gameloft games have to be purchased through gameloft.
They dont see the games in the market like most companies.
Its a annoyance. Try to go to the gameloft site from your phones browser. With my EVO it gives you an easy way to purchase the games optimized for my phone.
 
Ah thanks, I went to the site and when I tried to purchase the game it asked what type of phone... Samsung wasn't even listed :(
